Map Of Our Church Small Groups Christian Education Nursery Room 101 Reach Out: A class devoted to young adults 18-29 years old. This class incorporates lessons devoted to the spiritual growth of young adults moving through these transitional phases of their lives. Room 120 Abundant Life: An “all-ages” adult Bible study class with an emphasis on life application. The class is currently studying the book of Acts and how it applies to the 21st Century Church. Youth Auditorium Bethel: This is a class for senior adult couples who are now studying the Parables of Jesus. This study will help you discover the qualities God wants to see in the life of every Christian. Come learn about the characteristics of God’s kingdom. Room 109 Friendship Bible Class: Jesus used parables to teach about characteristics of God’s kingdom. You’ll enjoy this series that will help you learn how to “live out” the Christian life through a thought-provoking story. Room 114 Finding Your Spiritual Gifts: God has given each Christian a unique gift that helps in making for a strong church. In this interactive class you can learn how to best use the gifts God has provided you. You may wonder just where you fit in to the body of Christ. This class may well help you discover just that. Join Gerald Venable in Room 111 as he assists you along this journey. Ins and Outs of the Bible: This class enables the inquisitive Christian to gain a better understanding of the culture and settings of the times in which the Bible was written. Adults will enjoy this multimedia, in-depth study of the Bible. This class meets in room 127. Foundations of a Christian Family: A class for couples in their late 20s to mid 40s. God has designed the family to be a strong, supportive, spiritual institution. This class exists with this in mind and strives to reach this goal through meaningful teaching with an emphasis on fellowship. Room 128 Family Builders: An interactive discussion class for parents with children still at home. The goal of this class is to promote building strong homes based upon Godly principles found in the Scriptures. Conference Room Marriage: From Surviving to Thriving: As go marriages, so goes the family…so goes the culture, so goes a nation. Marriages and families are under attack as never before and we at Evangel Temple are committed in helping build and sustaining strong, committed, lasting and loving marriages. As a part of this commitment we are offering a series of classes focusing on marriage and family-building over the next year beginning with Marriage: From Surviving to Thriving. This is an eight-week investment of your time that can have a lifetime and generational impact on you, your marriage and your family. This class meets in the Conference Room. Joint Heirs: An in-depth Bible study for adult couples and singles. The class is currently studying a series on spiritual renewal and revival. This class also sponsors a dinner club for its members. Room 010 Pairs and Spares: Everybody likes a good story and Jesus was the master of them. This class is presently studying the Parables of Jesus. Join the Pairs and Spares each Sunday morning as it learns spiritual truths through stories about familiar things. Shavers Hall Singles and Doubles: A class for senior singles and couples. Through the end of November, this class is studying the Parables of Jesus. Come and learn how 1st Century stories can still have a spiritual impact on modern-day lives. Room 113 New Life (Ladies Class): Designed for women who not only love hearing the Word of God taught but who have a passion for ministering to each other in times of need. Walking with Jesus (Ladies Class): This class offers a safe and inviting atmosphere to women of all ages. Teachers combine their styles and methods to equip women through in-depth studies and practical applications of God’s Word. Room 112
